Why Some Content is Locked

Content may be restricted due to region, payment status, or age rating requirements.

When you browse ARY+ and notice that certain content is 'locked', there are typically several reasons why this might occur. Content availability is controlled based on the following key factors:

  1. Geographic Restrictions (Geo-Locking): Due to content licensing agreements, certain shows and movies are only available for viewing in specific countries and regions. If you are outside that area, the content will appear locked.

  2. Payment Status (Subscription/TVOD): Locked content often indicates that the title is premium. It may either not be included in your active subscription plan, or it is a TVOD title that requires a separate purchase or rental to view.

  3. Age Rating Requirements (Parental Controls): If Parental Controls are enabled on your account, content that exceeds the age limit you have set will also appear locked to prevent access to non-appropriate material.

To unlock the content, you should check your subscription status, verify your location, and review your Parental Controls settings.
