If a payment on ARY+ has not gone through, start by checking whether an amount was actually deducted from your account. What you should do next depends entirely on this.
An amount was deducted but my subscription is not active
When an amount leaves your account but your subscription does not activate, the transaction was most likely authorised by your bank without the confirmation reaching ARY+. In most cases the amount is being held by your bank rather than collected by us, and the transaction needs to be traced against the payment provider's record before it can be released or applied to your account.
Check your subscription status first
Sign out of ARY+, sign back in, and check My Rentals.
Activations are occasionally delayed by a few minutes while the confirmation reaches us. If your plan now shows as active, nothing further is needed.
Do not attempt the payment again
If an amount has already been deducted, do not retry. A second attempt can result in a second deduction, which takes longer to resolve than the original issue.
Finding the deduction on your bank statement
The deduction may not appear under the name ARY+. Depending on the payment method used, it will show under the name of the payment provider that processed the transaction.
If no matching entry appears, the payment may not have been deducted at all. In that case, follow the declined-payment steps below instead.
What to send us
Email [email protected] with:
The transaction reference is the most important detail. Without it, the payment provider cannot locate the record and the review takes considerably longer.
What happens next
Our billing team verifies the transaction with the payment provider and confirms the outcome to you by email. One of two things follows:
My payment was declined and no amount was deducted
If your payment was declined and nothing has been deducted, you can attempt it again from My Rentals.
Declines are almost always issued by your bank or card issuer rather than by ARY+, which means the fix usually sits on your side.
Common reasons a payment is declined
International transactions are not enabled. Many cards issued in Pakistan have international transactions disabled by default. If your payment is processed internationally, it will be declined until this is switched on. Most banks allow you to enable it from your mobile banking app, or by calling your bank's helpline.
The 3D Secure OTP was not entered in time. If the one-time password screen timed out or the SMS arrived late, the transaction is cancelled. Start the payment again and keep your phone available.
Insufficient balance. Check that your available balance covers the full amount, including any charges your bank applies to the transaction.
A transaction limit has been reached. Cards and wallets often carry daily or per-transaction limits. These can usually be adjusted in your mobile banking app.
Incorrect card details. Confirm the card number, expiry date and CVV, and check that the billing details match what your bank has on record.
The card has expired. Expired cards are declined automatically. Add a current card instead.
Try a different payment method
ARY+ supports more than one payment method at checkout. If one continues to fail, select another on the payment screen. A payment declined on a card will often complete successfully through a wallet or bank transfer, and the other way round.
If it still fails
Email [email protected] with your registered email address or mobile number, the payment method you were using, the date and time of your most recent attempt, and any error message shown on screen. We will confirm whether the attempts reached the payment provider and what reason was returned.
An amount was deducted twice
A duplicate deduction usually happens when a first attempt appears to fail or times out, and a second attempt is made while the first is still being authorised. Both are held by the bank, but only one is ever collected by ARY+.
Only one payment stands against your subscription. The other is reversed.
Email [email protected] with:
Our billing team identifies which transaction was collected, confirms this to you by email, and the duplicate is reversed to the same payment method it came from.
How long a reversal takes
Where an amount is reversed, it is normally credited back within 15 days of the original transaction date.
This timeline is set by your bank or card issuer, not by ARY+. Some banks release held amounts sooner, and some take longer than 15 days. If the amount has not appeared after 15 days, reply on your existing email thread with us and we will follow it up with the payment provider.
Contacting us about a payment
All payment and billing queries are handled over email by our billing team at [email protected].
Payment issues require the transaction to be traced with the payment provider, which is why they are handled over email rather than live chat. Email also gives you a written record of the transaction details and the outcome.
Once you have emailed us, reply on that same thread for any updates rather than sending a new email. Separate emails create separate records, which slows down the review.
Never include your full card number, CVV, PIN, or any password in an email. ARY+ will not ask you for these, and they are not needed to locate a transaction.
